I have been obsessing with this Leverocci skirt and have made about 10 outfits with it. I don’t know why. I really love the skirt but I for some reason I was fascinated with how it could look so different with different styling. This look might be my favorite, but I don’t know. I do know I LOVE the big, oversized sweater-jacket from Mr. Poet. Not only is it mesh and one of the best looking things I have seen but …are you ready?…it is free! And it comes in a box of three colors. The sweater I have on under it is also from Mr. Poet and is part of the CapeCoat outfit. It is made for men so be prepared to resize the old way, piece by piece. Still, I love the styling so I think it is worth it. The boots have been blogged a lot but…oh…aren’t they beautiful? From Maitreya and they too are rigged mesh. The purse is LaGyo. One of several color combinations in this style. I love black and white so this might be my favorite. The wonderful earrings are Paper Couture and are as always….from the Lu sisters…fabulous. I really searched for the right necklace and in the end I loved the tram necklace made of a big soft fabric bow.

It is OPEN! Hair Fair 2010 is off to a great start. From September 4-19 you can shop ’til you drop. But don’t forget one of the most important things about Hair Fair is that it helps raise money for a very good cause. This year’s charity is Wigs for Kids…so keep that in mind when buying….and splurge!
I was lucky enough to get to see the sims before they were packed with people and took a few shots. The build is delightful with tents housing the participants along walkways punctuated by classical triumphal arches. Along the center of the walkways are easels which hold the incredible winning pictures of this year’s Hair Fair photography contest and big containers topped by balloons where you can make donations to the charity. Inside the tents, you will find most of your favorite hair designers as well as many others you may not have seen before. Take a look between the display areas inside the tents..there are cute dressing areas with make-up mirrors, fans, folding chairs. (See some of my pics below.) The styles this year are simply fantastic…in this post you’ll see a few of my favorites with more to come over the next several days. Congratulations to the Hair Fair committee for all their hard work and to the designers who have worked so hard making all the pretty hairstyles showcased at the fair! Enjoy. Complete list of landmarks. Details on skins, clothing and jewelry after the cut.

I recently met a new designer, Zeerya Pyrithea of Zeery. She has a cute shop in the Rue D’Antibes. There are scarfs, shawls, tops and ponchos (even some knitted earrings to match the tops). I put an outfit together with one of her sleeveless sweater tops. These tops are beautifully textured and I love the way they are cut along the top of the bodice with the flame shapes. I chose the eggplant color but there are others —all named after vegetables 🙂 Obviously these could be casual or dressy but I thought they would be perfect for a night on the town paired with my furry vest from Madsy. I also got to wear these darling Periquita heels. These shoes are great… not only super cute but they are scripted so you can change the colors on all the parts…yay! More details on the rest of the outfit below the cut. Hope you go visit Zeery and keep your eyes open, we will be seeing a lot more from her! ok….that’s it…so party on.

Hamburger? What hamburger? OK…I was eating a hamburger from Pudge while wearing this outfit. But what I really wanted to show off was the cool new backpack purse from Coco. I have been looking for this type of purse for a while now and snapped it up the other day when I popped into Coco. Just so you know, it certainly was not my only purchase there. (What a cute store….more to come in a future post on that!) At any rate, I pulled this outfit together to wear with the purse…hahaha…sort of the opposite of how it usually works. I also wanted to wear my new pants and skirt from Kurotsubaki and this is how it all came together. I’ve had fun wearing this around for a day or two and hope you like it as much as I do. P.S. The hamburger was yummy.
