In the winter season sunny days seldom come along in rl but here in our pixel world they are easy to come by. So when the snow is falling outside my rl window it is great to escape and enjoy the sunshine on the grid. For my day in the sun I’m wearing one of Mon Tissu’s mesh pencil skirts. Beautiful textures and lots ! of colors available. The grey top is also Mon Tissu —I love that it is long and you can wear it outside your skirt…it even has its own little belt. The top is really versatile and a little boho, it looks great on its own with just a pair of tights or jeans. The coat is a two-tiered, almost-military style from Lelutka …. I love the way it hangs open and looks so natural. The bag from LaGyo is really one of my favs this year, it adds lots of style with its huge size and great crocodile texture. It comes with a nice pose or two which is important for handbags unless you have an AO that can accommodate the bag-holding without the handbag ending up inside your body or over your head. Can’t stop without mentioning the hair from vive9…LOVE the wrap style (very chic) and the little wisps of hair escaping from the wrap. I absolutely <3 the lace-up boots from JySyLilO. A great heel and the laces and zippers add an edgy quality. More details and landmarks after the cut. Now get out in the sunshine, even if it is pixel sunshine.

Yes…time is flying and there is shopping to be done. With lots of new items on the grid, autumn is always a fun time. Not too much to say today…other than I love the new handbags from Lelutka and the new hair they released this week! The fluffy dress is from Wasted Youth and my coat is an old-but-still-wonderful stand-by from Aoharu! Kookies boots are a recent release—a new take on her Armarda boots…a longer version. I love them. The earrings are pretty special…a recent release from Ticky Tacky. And as always, Paper Couture has some great new stuff including the cool Moon ring and new tortoise shades. Everyone needs a little black dress and this is a great one—the French Dress from Wasted Youth. I played around and put together several outfits with it…sometimes as a dress but also as a top. I am showing you two of my favorite combinations here. I pulled a real “vintage” piece (the used Flower Cardigan in red from Kurotsubaki) from my closet to wear over it in the first look. The belt is a fairly new one from LG Concept …it comes in several colors and I love the sculpted flower buckle. The little purse is from Baiastice. The great thing (besides that it is so cute) is it comes in a couple of sizes and both shoulder and hand hold positions. Yay for that. The second look is the dress worn more as a top over leggings. These leggings are from R.icielli and how cute is that newspaper print!!?? The flower on the hat is from Atelier AM. <3 It is a headband but works well added to the hat. Oh give me a home where the buffalo roam and the skies are not cloudy all day…..how can I give up my dreams of the wild west and cowgirl fun…..WAIT! ….with Milk Motions cool, fringed, long T-shirt I don’t have to. Yee-ha. :) This is super cute and the fringed parts are soooo fringe-a-licious. Plus I got the one with the wild horses on the front which makes it even more western. You gotta love the sculpty bits, just look at the way it is sort of baggy <3 .The shoulder bag is an old one (the first bag I ever bought in SL!) from Shiny Things and and has just the right worn leather look. Scuffed up leather cowboy boots from Hoorenbeek. Guess I’m ready for the round-up. Get along little doggie and all that stuff.

In my last post I showed you the cute hat by Coco in red that is free in her store. Well, today I want to show you the black and white one….they are just too cute to ignore. I do think this one is really fun…. dalmation spotted. Sort of a new take on Cruella Deville. Yikes. (No dalmations were harmed in the making of this post.) But…this one also has to be about the bag because Coco has this fabulous pink purse as a group gift right now ! So join up and take it home. And…yay… it matches the Barcelona slingbacks that I bought during the Armidi pink sale going on for Valentine’s Day. (And if you haven’t heard about that one…where have you been??? no erhm I mean…get on it!) I added the little cropped lace jacket from Digit Darkes just to cover the shoulders and dress it up some. Soooo pretty in pink…….and black and white doggie spots.
